My Worth As A Man
My Worth As A Man
My worth as a man, is not measured by dollar signs
Nor is it measured in finish lines or pick up lines
It is measured in the depth of my being, the depth of my presence
I felt it in my spine
Strong full of courage, integrity and resilience
And in my heart
Soft and open in loving compassion
My worth as a man does not happen in isolation
And is strengthened when in community
So when I come together with a group of men
Around a fire, or climbing a mountain
To share in story and expose their vulnerability
To support each other and radiate their gifts
To create a vision for their future
My soul is nourished and my worth continues to grow

“When men support each other, incredible things happen” - Unknown
Sitting and sharing with other men as part of the ManTribe program (Tony Tow) and climbing men’s mountain as part of Men’s WalkAbout Conscious Adventures (Tynon Bradford Alaom) has highlighted to me that men share a common thread of experiences and realising this allowed me to feel seen, heard and part of a brotherhood. I can’t recommend these programs enough to men wanting to deepen their connection with themselves, those around them and their purpose and worth.
